Food & Merchant Vendor Form
The MLK Center and partners invite food and merchant vendors to participate in “Soul of the City” 2025. Set up begins at 8:00 am on Saturday at Franklin Field located at 1251 9th Street, Rock Island. Festivities will continue until approximately 6:00 pm.
Please note the following before you submit your registration:
Food vendors must meet all health department requirements as they pertain to the sale of food, and are required to contact the city health inspector to have the site inspected for compliance.
All food vendors are subject to inspection by the City of Rock Island Health Inspector and must follow Temporary Food Stand Guidelines. Click here to submit a Temporary Food and Beverage Application to the City Health Inspector and understand the guidelines.
Vendor Fees include 1 table and 2 chairs
Vendor agrees to pay the vendor fee in full by Friday, August 1, 2025.
Refunds are ONLY issued 30 days prior to the event date. Cancellations must be requested in writing.
Rib Contestants only: Contestants are judged based on - Presentation, Taste and Tenderness.
Food vendor & Rib Contestant fee: $175
Merchant vendor fee: $125
