West End Revitalization Intern

The MLK Center is guiding a grassroots-led initiative to revitalize the West End of Rock Island, using a comprehensive approach called collective impact. An intern will have the unique opportunity to be involved in a grassroots effort with the potential for transformational change by assisting in research, communications, community engagement, data collection and analysis, and more. Communications Intern

The MLK Center is looking for intern assistance with storytelling and communications for a wide variety of audiences (community members, policymakers, businesses, funders, etc). Tasks could include interviews, photography, short video production, writing, making information more accessible, and some graphic design. Intern will gain experience with branding, audience segmentation, tailoring messages, and more. More information about the MLK Center is at mlkcenter.org
