After-school Program

FREE FOR CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTEN-9TH GRADE IN THE ROCK ISLAND/MILAN SCHOOL DISTRICT

The MLK Center provides homework help and tutoring; a snack and a meal; and fun activities and field trips — all at no cost to families. Monday-Friday from 2:30-6pm. Transportation from select schools to the MLK Center is provided. Call (309) 732-2999 for more information.

Begin the registration process by registering below or come to the MLK Center (preferred) between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Spaces are limited.

UPDATE: There will be limited spots available on Monday, November 10th. These spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Summer Day Camp

Family Advocacy Center

The Family Advocacy Center (FAC) at the MLK Center provides free support to help families build stability and self-sufficiency, including case management, counseling, housing support, basic needs assistance, job readiness, parenting guidance, and transportation help.

Prevention

The Prevention Team consists of both substance abuse and pregnancy prevention specialists. We work with the Rock Island/Milan School District and surrounding community to teach evidence-based comprehensive drug, alcohol, sexual education, and social/emotional learning.
