ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3!

With Election Day approaching, Quad Cities Votes Together is helping make voter education, registration, and civic participation more accessible throughout the Quad Cities.

This nonpartisan initiative brings local nonprofits together to share trusted voting information and resources.

Know Your Rights at the Polls
🗳️Voting should be accessible to everyone. Before you head to the polls, it can help to know some basic rights and protections that apply to voters.

📋 You have the right to ask questions. Poll workers are there to help you understand the voting process and how to cast your ballot.

🗳️ You have the right to vote if you are properly registered and eligible. If there is an issue with your registration or eligibility, ask a poll worker what options are available to you.

♿ You have the right to accessible voting. Election officials provide accommodations and accessible voting equipment for voters who need assistance.

🤝 You may receive assistance when permitted by election law. If you need help because of a disability or difficulty reading or marking your ballot, ask a poll worker about your options.

🔒 Your vote is private. You have the right to cast your ballot without others seeing how you voted.

⏰ Don't leave without asking about your options. If you encounter a problem at the polls, speak with a poll worker or election official before leaving.

Election rules and procedures vary by state, so make sure you check the official election information for Iowa or Illinois before Election Day.

Know the process. Know your rights. Be prepared to vote.

Because every voice matters. Every community deserves to be heard.
