The votes are in! The winning project for the 2025 West End Participatory Budgeting (PB) process is Neighbors Helping Neighbors Landscaping Services.
This youth employment and training program provides lawn care, snow removal, and outdoor maintenance for seniors and residents with disabilities—while creating paid job opportunities for local youth ages 16–25.
Now that the community has chosen the project, we’re moving into the implementation phase.
What’s Next?
The next step is to identify the right community partner to bring this project to life. To make the process open and accessible, we’re inviting both organizations and residents to submit recommendations through our Implementation Intake Form.

We’re looking for a partner organization with the skills and commitment to ensure this project succeeds. The form asks for:

Both organization representatives and community members may submit recommendations.

Partner review & scoring: After form closes (Steering Committee)
Next step: West End staff will contact top-scoring partners to begin implementation planning
